LB Tournament

As a reminder, the LB tournament is this weekend at Fairview Park.  We are still in need of volunteers to help work in the concession stand.  This is one of our major fundraising events of the year and helps to make our Association succesful.

Triple Threat Lacrosse is happy to announce that our third Summer League is ready to go! Many thanks to all the players (over 500 so far) and families who made our first two seasons such a success. We’ve incorporated a few changes that we hope will make this our best summer yet.

What hasn't changed is that TTL will still be offering a 10 v 10 summer lacrosse league, and once again we will be playing at Fairview Park in South Fayette. TTL will provide everything necessary for a terrific game experience: WPIAL refs, EMT on site, coaches, balls, and pinnies for every player.

As a reminder, the league is games only – there will be no practices. Our goal is keep a player’s head in the game, stick in the hand, and love of lax in the heart past the spring season. In addition, since it is a summer league, we expect players will miss a week or two due to other summer plans. No worries, we still welcome your participation!

All that business aside, registration is now open for the 2017 summer season and the price has stayed the same: the cost is $100 per player if you sign up by May 22, 2017, and $125 after that until the registration close date of May 26, 2017We had to waitlist players last summer, so we urge you to sign-up as soon as possible to ensure yourself a spot.

Goalie Special: Like previous seasons, goalies must register and initially pay the full fee, but they will be eligible for a discount based on the number of games they play goalie. For example, if you play in 70% of the games at goalie you will receive a 70% discount on the registration fee you paid.

Teams will be based on your CURRENT grade (2016/2017 school year). While contingent on registration numbers, we plan on teams in the following age groups:

  • 2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade
  • 5th & 6th Grade
  • 7th & 8th Grade

There will not be a high school division this season.

Game play will once again be on Wednesday nights for all teams. The seven-game season will begin on June 7, 2017 and run until July 26, 2017. We will NOT play on July 5, 2017Our planned start times for the games are 6:00 PM and 7:15 PM, though this is subject to change based on registration.

To register you can click here or visit our website at triplethreatlacrosse.com.

Thank you again to all those who participated last summer! Please pass the word to those who would be interested within your community.

We look forward to seeing you in June!

The Summer Lacrosse Clinic Series 1 and 2 will focus on the teaching and advancement of stick / ball handling and footwork necessary to be skilled in lacrosse with drills and fun games. Whether your player is brand new to the game or has been playing for a few seasons, the quest for stick improvement and solid footwork never ends! Clinics focus on personal development in a respectful environment led by positive coaching.

New players thinking about playing next year will get a jump on learning the fundamentals and get the know current players, and returning players will be able to elevate the skills they already acquired and stay fresh for the upcoming season continuing relationship building with teammates.

Girls will be split into groups according to age and/or experience where appropriate. All sessions held at South Fayette Intermediate Field on the dates listed below.

SERIES 1: Sessions are June 6, 14, 21, 28 and then July 5
SERIES 2: Sessions are July 12, 19, 26 and August 2, 9

All players will need a stick, goggles and mouthpiece. If you need help with choosing equipment or need to borrow before investing in a purchase, please contact head varsity coach, Connie Moretti, @ sfglaxcoach@gmail.com.

To register for either or both clinics and for more information, please visit HERE!
